You may face intermittent outage in Bangalore region due to some unprecedented circumstances. Local administration has initiate drive to remove aerial cables across Bangalore for all operators impacting the services across the city.
As you are aware, that these fiber cables are aerial due to various expansion & development work carried out by various agencies.
The drive has started without any prior notice or discussion with telecom operator.
It's brought to our notice by our telecom provider that they're in constant touch with BBMP . However access & permissions are not being cleared by BBMP authorities.
It is also learned through telecom operator that around 700 km fiber from all the operator has been removed and restoration has not been allowed.
Telecom operator has already escalated the issue with BBMP commissioner to figure out a solution on immediate basis.
In view of above , few of the circuits may not be working or
may experience longer outage ranging from 24 to 48 hours.
